For all the design lovers out there (AKA, all of you) that are looking for a great design exhibition while vacationing in major cities around the world, we came up with 5 great attractions for July- September. Take out your calendars.
What is it? An exhibition of more than 3,000 designers under one rooftop; it is considered to be the one that defines the next generation of designers and influencers in the British design scene.
When? July 4th-7th
What is it? The biggest event in Sao Paulo in August. It focuses on South American design and includes more than 200 separate events occurring simultaneously and hosted by companies, organizations, private people, NGO’s, and Institutions. Anything from fairs to cocktail parties. Since its launch in 2012, the design week of Sao Paulo had scaled tremendously into an international event with hundreds of organizations and institutions participating.
When? August 29th- September 2nd.

What is it? Founded in 2005, the Finnish design week is considered to be the biggest design event among all Nordic countries (last year it had more than 161,000 visitors). You can find exhibitions in fashion, architecture, and urban culture. The festival’s program includes more than 250 events dedicated to professionals and the general public. The events take place in numerous locations around the city: Museums, markets, small stores, bars, etc.
When? September 6th-16th
Where? Helsinki, Finland.

What is it? One week where Paris celebrates the best of the French design and art. Galleries, schools, studios, and workshops that are spread throughout the city open their gates to the general public and spill the beans about the hottest trends in the field.
Where? Paris, France.
What is it? The international furniture fair in Shanghai is a platform for every furniture lover and dealer to be updated on the current trends in the furniture industry and to create business ties with furniture vendors from around the world. The fair includes more than 2,000 decor and furniture international vendors, and it has more than 120,000 visitors every year.
